Rusty orange kinda color..?

Please HELP! I am cycling my tank I have noticed a new color that seems to be growing on my rock furthermore, I have seen a couple spots of this stuff on my sand. Please let me know what it is.

if your tank is new it is probably diatoms, it is part of a normal cycle and will go away.

I got that also when I change from fresh water lighting to salt lighting.

It stayed for 3 weeks then went away on its own.

Just check your water chemicals properly then it will go away.

Your next stage after this is bubble algae.

You do not want bubble algae in your tank. Manually remove any and all bubble algae b4 it gets problematic. HTH

yeah bubble algea is not good and isnt a normal part of the cycle
