hey ade,
hope all is going well. I am planning on making the meeting but really not interested in the frag raffle, (still not having much luck with the sps corals) and my tanks are over crowded with softies.
looking forward to seeing the store and dont get out that way to often. hopefully will be able to find a nice lps addition for my tank

Can't make the meet.
Can't make the meet.
Due to a death in my family I can't make the meet on the 7th Dec.Under this cercumstance I have to fly home to Walse UK on
Tuesday the 5th and will be there for a week.
I am going to talk to Chris this week to see if he would like to continue with the raffle. If it it too much for him to deal with as well as his regular customers I will see if someone else can run with it. I guess I was hoping for a huge meet with a little something that everyone could go home with, a coral of some what.
I hope that the turn out is as I thought and I would love to be there to enjoy it with you all.
I hope to see you all at the next meet.

This meeting was Ade's idea.
I'm all for bumping the date till he is back.
What do all of you guys think? Maybe the Thursday he is back?

I wouldn't mind waiting. I know Ade has had to miss a few before for different reasons.. Let's just hold off a bit, besides it isn't like I don't see see 5 different reefclub members everytime I go to UA anyhow.... Mini meets every mon-sat and the big meeting when Ade gets back....

It's your call. I am going there tomorrow to give my fix for the week.
I think that sjdyer might have a meet planned for mid December (beer, pool and xbox) but I am not going to make that call. Just heard it on the grape vine.
Like I said it's your call on the 7th meet, I wouldn't want you to call it off on my behalf.

We aren't calling it off .... we are just waiting for ya.....Imagine that ... looks like we may have 2 meetings in about a month ...not bad considering we haven't had 1 in quite a while....
I think HOC had a good Idea , we could wait until after christmas. Let us know what works for you ..\

I agree with Eric. I think a good date would be the 4th or the 11th of January. It still falls on a Thursday, and Ade will be back.
Which date does everyone think would be best, or is there another date anyone has in mind?

Ade's point was to infuse the club with more activties. He still wanted the club to have the meet so we all are more active in club. It seems that a select few drive the club were we hope more and more people will step forward and host meets and ask questions. It does not matter that your a new or old member. The purpose of it is to help club members and share our tanks wilth others that enjoy the hobby. I enjoy seeing everyones tanks small and large.
