yeah i agree no lighting for now... Id also keep it in a dark room that people don't go into too often. That way lights outside the tank aren't flickering on and off all the time and people aren't always trying to sneak a peek either.

To that end you could throw a towel over the tank like people do with bird cages.

i most likely will do that, i already do it with my bearded dragon over the winter so she can hibernate, so with this tank it wont be too bad, plus i left their burrows extra long and made them out of ABS black plastic to ensure they are doing healthy, i will be contacting the LFS today to talk to them about buying them
