S. gigantea with a blue colored foot

I saw a small blue s. gigantea at a local lfs with a light blue colored foot. IME, most gigs have a fleshy colored foot. It's a pretty light blue color..just seems odd I don't know if it's dyed or not. Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt it's dyed. My blue/purple gig has a light blue foot. It's not all that uncommon.

Most Gigantea have bluish, greenish foot, darker near the bottom. IMO and IME, colorless foot are usually not Gigantea (even with color veracue higher up on the column)

sometimes the foot is even red
