S. haddoni experience

Can anyone with experience with these anemonies give me some idea as to how much fish loss you have experienced due to poor judgement on their fishes part (or is it our bad judgement on our part to get one?)?

I have two of them, one for 6+ years, the other for 9+ months. In all that time I have only lost one fish, a yellow watchman goby. That happened about 4 years ago.

Both my purple tang and my juvi blue face angel like to try to get little pieces of food out of the outer rim of the anemones, and so far so good.

I think I am an exception to most others.

I think tank size is also a factor. A 20" haddoni in a 75 gallon tank has a lot better chance of catching and eating a fish than in a 300 gallon tank.

I have lost one anthias one watchmen goby and a clown goby in about 2 weeks. all the fish were ate at night. I put on a night light about a week ago and have not lost any fish since. I feed my green carpet every other day.

Not a S. haddoni, but my bta decided one day to make a trek across my tank from lower right to extreme upper left corner. This happened to be the same day I added a school of 11 green chromis to the tank. After a week (when the bta decided to go back to the rocks in the bottom), all but 2 had died, and they looked horrible. I figured out they had all been sleeping in the corner the bta was in, getting stung all night long, and then doing death rolls on the bottom like they were some morbid synchronized swimming team... Sometimes I really hate that bta. ;-)
