I have had a single leopard wrasse in my tank for the last 2 1/2 yrs. Just recently it has switched from a female to a male.
I was curious if I could add another leopard wrasse (female) to the tank and what the consequences would be.

If I do, will they get along?
Or do I prepare for a jumper?
Or ?????

Thanks!!

IME, they will get along fine. You don't have to get a female, just a juvenile, as they will stay femal, with an already established male. For M. meleagris, that means just getting th etypically colored ones that are spotted with black, orange, and blue, same with bipars. The look VERY nice in trios or small harems. In a group is the only way to keep them, IMO.
