I've heard that zoa's eat, when? At night they close up and at day the mouth is closed. IMO looks like light is all they need, but i could be wrong so therefore i'm experimenting! I placed an eagle eye up top getting max light from a 4x24w t5 set up and a Tubs blue mid tank. I'm target feeding the tubs blue and the eagle eye is getting straight light plus the nutrients of the tank. Let'see what happens.

if you are going to do any kind of worthwhile experiment.....you need to use the exact same polyps taken from the same colony to do so.
