what are your water parameters? sebaes are pretty easy to begin with, but all anemones require extra care compared to other inverts.

did you buy a colony of green star polyps? you might want to give'em a few days before they open up...especially if your water quality is not up to par.

GSP do this they will take a few days to come out. try directing the water flow over them or near them . they seem to open up quicker when I do this.
as far as the anemone. this is normal also they might stay lke this when in a new tank for a few days until they get use to their new surrounding's. what to look out for is bleaching in color or they start to expell their zooxanthellae which looks like brown stringy slime.

Also--how long has your tank been up and running? Have you done any water testing, and what is your salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrite levels?

In the pictures, the sebae looks bleached, but not a goner. I would be more concerned if the mouth was gaping and the guts--mesenterial filaments--were hanging out. It is not uncommon for them to cruise around the tank when you first put them in until they find a spot they like, with appropriate water flow and lighting. If you have a spot you want to "suggest", you can put it there and "corral" it with some rock rubble around it. There's no guarantee it will stay there, especially if you choose a location that is inappropriate.

The fact that it went face-down is a little worrisome, but it may right itself. Once it is upright, feed it well with SMALL foods--cyclopeeze, minced seafood, mysid shrimps etc.

Keep us posted. :)

Do a water change and like they said your water parms... I have learned the hard way they HATE PH changes or anything Under 8.0 PH. you will know if its dieing if it starts to string off it almost looks like a melting ice cream cone. I have a really bleached out Nem that I have been trying to save for weeks, honestly they are a pin in the arse and I wouldn't get anything but a BTA again!

Dont let him melt in your tank.
