Sad anemone?

Hi Everyone.

I just got a new Haddoni i believe.
That is what they told me it was and looks like it to me. Husband is out buying batteries for the camera and then i will post. Not bleached at all. Foot is kinda a beige colour and tentacles alost look like pink and blue.

So when we got him yesterday he was firmly attached to the tank at the lfs. Took us 20 min very carefully getting him off(tickled his foot)
Mouth was very tightly closed and he was spread right out. Has been there a month now and looks just as good if not better than when they got it.

So i dripped him for 4.5 hours to make sure all was good. Put him in the tank and he quickly attached himself bettween a rock and my back wall.

Today we don't look as good. Still attached colours still good but mouth is itermittently(Sp) open. Not all the time but often. Should i worry?

All my params are as follows.

Salinity-1.026
Ph-8.2
Ammonia-0
Trite-0
Trate-5
Calcium-400
Dkh-10
Temp-79
Lights are currently 600 watt pc but just ordered today 3 175 watt halides that will be here Wed.

Thanks
Lisa

Everything sounds spot on. As long as his mouth isn't gaping open constantly, it's probably just normal acclimation.
My H Crispa is huge and she opens her mouth a bit when she's taking in water or expelling water.

Okay we'll i will relax a little. It is now shrinking but still attached. I am thinking it is expelling as the lfs had feed it Friday and i got it yesterday.

Does this indeed sound like a haddoni?

Thanks
LIsa

Okay it is really starting to worry me. It is pretty much deflated and i can see the insides. Nothing stringy just white. Not alot of it but enough that i can see it if that makes any sense. Should i get it out or just wait and see. My concern is that it is 9pm and another hour and i have to go to bed. Will it die that quickly if that is indeed what is happening?

Thanks
Lisa

We've really got to see some pictures to have any sort of idea if it's bad or not at this point.
If you can see all the way through the anemone, that's a problem.

The anemone won't pollute your tank overnight. Even though your water quality is good, it is different from the water at the LFS. The anemone needs to balance the all the major and minor elements in the water inside and outside its body. Sometimes this takes a couple days and can look really ugly. Sometimes it takes too much out of the anemone and it dies, but it will take longer than overnight to start to fall apart. Most likely it will look better in the morning.

I will shoot some pics after i drop my kids off at school. I can't see all the way through it just a bit of it's stomach around the top of its mouth. I is still shrunk down but still attached and not saggy. Tentacles are all still moving.
I am hoping that once i turn some lights on it will get a little better. My clarkii is checking it out alot and i am hoping he will just keeps it's distance for a few days and if not i will pull him to quarintine as to not stress out the nem anymore.

Will be back in a hour or so with a pic.

Thanks for all your help

Lisa
