Sad Day

Guess I need to email him as I was going to replace some frags for him soon. Don't worry, he'll be back. His whole garage is full of equipment and he was setting up a monster tank that had enough movement to create a waterfall out there.

I'm not no old timer. But I know what youmean. I can't believe someone would be that mad at Hugo to put a battery in his frag tank. He had one the nicest tanks in the World.
:sad2:

I saw his tank a few months after the battery problem in November and there were no signs of any ill effects. It was gorgeous. I suspect it was something else but we'll never know for sure.

I just talked to Hugo for almost an hour. Shhhh, he's not getting out completely but is seriously down sizing. I think he may be trying to sell his high-end chalices, so if you're in the market...

Also, he wants some of his corals back from me LOL.

thats why i love sharing my frags. if they die you know where to get them back from.

For insurance - send me one of each...

Found the tmp salt part of the thread interesting also. It seems like so many salt mfg are having issues these days.

The D&D Marine salt is expensive but it is the only one i have found that don't have that nasty Grey/Brown Sludge in the bottom of the barrel when you use the water after mixing.
It mixes up crystal clear and the Parameters are right where i want them without any adding anything. Plus it is 100% reclaimed sea water and that's a good thing.
