So went in to feed my eels today was feeding two of them and then noticed that my tessy eel was not out eating and that is not normal.. So I started looking around in the tank didn't see if so looked around outside the tank and found him under the stand.. It was not cool at all.. So I guess I need to get some new lids.. Does anyone no where to get some lids for a 180 so this does not happen to my other ones?.?.?

if an eel jumps i feel as if it easily has the force to dislodge a peice of eggcrate, could be wrong though

Any lid will have to be weighted down with the eels he is keeping, so weighted eggcrate would work. Sorry about your loss, that really stings. Don't get another tessy for this group, though...

Yeah no my boyfriend told me we are not going to get another tessy cause it was going to be trouble.. so now I need new lids and a new eel to add..

You can also paint it with black Krylon paint. It takes a few coats because of the shape of the eggcrate, but it works very well.

I will have to try that cause it just seems that the price online for black is a little much compared to the white I can get at the store..thanks
