It's a sad day here in my house I had a algae outbreak in my 72 gal. so the family decided to help me clean up the tank some. well I think a wooden spoon with a cloth to clean the inside of the tank. After we cleaned the tank the family went out for the evening, when we retuned I noticed bubbles on top of the water and my cleaner shrimp were on the opposite side of the tank and acting funny, I asked where the spoon was and told they got it out of the dish washer , I truly believe the spoon must have had some detergent residue on it, buy the time I could react the shrimp had died and my lettuce were also dead the only thing that was still moving were my hermit crabs. (I had no fish in the tank). So I need to tear the whole tank down, but I would like to know can I save my live rock and if so how and do I have to cycle my tank again? I know I can't use the sand again unless I clean the heck out of it.
