Sad Day

I'm sorry to say that I have lost my longest tank resident. A neon goby my fiance named Lilbit. I was feeding my tank when he jumped out of the tank. I was able to pick him up and clean off the dirt from the rug that got stuck to him but he unfortunately did not make it. Lilbit you will be missed, R.I.P.

I know how you feel. I recently bought a really nice mystery wrasse that was over 3" and was my last fish I planned on adding to my tank. I found him on the tile about 7 feet from the tank dead.

It sucks losing livestock that is expensive or you have had for a long time. I also did an interceptor treatment and lost my pistol shrimp that is paired with my goby. They were a pair for over 6 years and it just isn't the same now without him...

Sorry to hear that man. It's never easy. I lost my dog this weekend. Drove down from school to be with the family. Things happen, you learn lessons, and you've always got memories.

Thanks guys, I know he wasnt pricey like some of the other fish here, but you know...Sorry to hear bout your dog Eric, that there is deep!!

unfortunately it happens.
Just last week I lost all my angels yes -majestic gone/regal gone/goldflake gone.
I suspect fin rot vs velvet most likely brought into my tank by the majestic.
Both my goldflake and regal where established eating pellets for months.

It is what it is u just move forward.

That amazing goldflake is gone! Oh, Manny I hate to hear that...those angels were stunning.

Eric, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog...I firmly believe that dogs make some of the best guardian angels!

RIP Lilbit. Amazing how attached we can become to our fish!

I had a beautiful supermale linneatus that would eat right out of my hand and I lost him when WPB shocked the water system with chlorine and overwhelmed my RO/DI. I literally walked into my fav LFS with him in a bucket (they have a "fish hospital" there), crying my eyes out!

We all feel your pain!

Torry unfortunately they are all gone i watch them slowly wither away over the last 3 weeks.had to be an Angel related infection since no other fish has suffered . keeping my fingers crossed.

I'd be raiding the Lexapro if I had to watch those poor, gorgeous creatures wither away!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as well!

A QT wouldnt have helped my lil jumper... Manny sorry to hear about your Angels, as an Angel Afficionado myself (minus the budget), I definitely can imagine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as well. GL.
People think its crazy but we really get to see the fish personalities, so we get attached. I could literally cup my hands under water & Lilbit would swim in & rest on my hands. Every time I tried to work on the tank he'd come visit. aww MEMORIES, lol.
