Sad sad day today

This has nothing to do with S/W tanks but were all family here. I figured I would share my bad news. I had to put my best friend (puppy ) Tito to sleep today. He was 1 year and 15 days old. My poor puppy had a brain tumor. Im going to miss the little guy.

So so sorry for your loss :( We don't have children but we have 3 cats and to us they are our babies and I don't know what I'd do without them.

I hope you'll be ok and if you need anything we're a great online support group no? :)
 
Thanks everyone. Its been a tuff 4 days since all this started happening. But im just remembering all the good times we had. Maybe later this year when im over it all I will get another Boxer. They are such a great breed of a dog. I hope I have better luck with the next 1. Its tuff putting your best buddy to sleep after 1 year.

Yes I think this is great support group. Thats why I wrote something on here. This is a big family to me.
 
I'm sure he was a great friend. I know how tough it is to lose an animal that is close to you. I'm very sorry for your loss.

im so sorry man. when i came over to check out the 55 you had forsale i had decided that was teh coolest boxer ever. im sorry for your loss man its a shame. if there is anything we can do just give a shout.
 
No they wanted to do a MRI and some other test on him, but they wanted $3,000 up front. I couldnt afford that. So I had them do some treatments on the other things they thought it could be and they had no luck. So they pretty much narrowed it down to the tumor. It might had a slight chance to been treatable for now, but it would of been lots of money. I just didnt have it, and I didnt want to put him through it. He went through a lot in 4 days like this with no luck of getting better. So I had to put him down. It was my last resort. I loved this dog so much, he was my buddy.
 
I am so sorry for your loss. Animals bring so much joy and happiness to our lives. For alot of people, pets are their children. Their love is unconditional. The only comfort we can have as owners is knowing that we can give them peace when they are in pain.
 
So sorry for your loss. I know how hard it must have been for you to make the decisions you did. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
 
I had to put one of my cats down last Sunday because his kidneys failed. We had no idea and I went through the same type of agony (several hundred dollars to find out why his kidneys failed... maybe he would last a year... he will be in pain... he will need regular expensive vet care) and we had to put Scoopie down. It just hurts. I am praying for you. My husband and I console ourselves that we gave him a good home and lots of love while he was on earth. You did the same with your best friend. Now he hurts no more and he still remembers how much you gave him and loved him when he lived with you.
