saddle back ?

well i have a saddle back and he wont go to the lta that i have so
i was wanting to know what other clowns will get along with him?
i plan on getting a carpet for him ..

about 1 1/2 months and he goes near it but wont go in ...he even made i hole in the sand about 2 inches away that he sleeps in

No other clowns will get along with it. Only other saddlebacks. My saddleback pair went right into my carpet nem when I put them in the tank.

well thats bites but its ok the lfs will trade it back just have to get them to order the carpet for me ....how can you tell if the sb is male or female ?

My clown jumped right into his new RBTA on the second day.
and to make sure its male or female just make sure the new clown is smaller than the one already in the tank. this sould insure that it is sexually immature and will turn male in time so it can pair with your female.

Yep thats me. It happened on 2 separate occasions. A $5 chromis and a $40 leopard wrasse.

my saddlebacks have no interest in hosting either.

How long have you had the saddleback wooly? If you have had it a while and it has been alone and is approaching maturity, then it is a female. They only stay males when there is a larger female present, without one, they mature into a female.

I would bet anything your clown is a female. Get another tiny saddleback and it will be a male
