saddleback slight popeye

bonnie-my saddleback has slight popeye and it doesn't seem to be bothering her,she eats like a cow and spawns every 7-9 days and has even had overlapping clutches ...but she's about to move into the new tank and i'm wondering if there is anything i can do,like a fw dip or quarantine since i'm moving her anyways...

Saddlebacks are pretty prone to catching popeye for no real apparent reason. It isn't really something I would really worry about as the cases can just go away as suddenly as they appear and they don't really seem to harm the fish.

I had a black pair where the mail got popeye. It didn't go away and I treated with mardel saltwater maracyn 2 and it went away after about a week.

In my readings I have read that Chloramphenicol will work if maracyn doesn't but unfortunately chloramphenicol isn't used much any more since the fda banned it for humans.

thanks for that, i think i will minimize the stress on her and just move her once,she seems very healthy otherwise..i'd really like to see it clear up tho
