I assume you are talking about saddle carpet anemones (S. haddoni). They don't split like BTAs. There has been a that have formed buds that have developed into new anemones and eventually split off from the parent, however, this budding process takes many months from start to finish.
Usually S. haddoni reproduces sexually by releasing sperm into the water. I don't know if the babies are brooded internally like in S. gigantea or if the eggs are released into the water as well to fend for themselves.
