Hey fellow RC'ers how are yall.

Had a tube of this laying in the garage and im planning to use it to secure glass baffles in a sump.

I'd like to know if this is safe to use (reef safe) to hold baffles in a sump.

Exact model:
GE Silicone I* 100% Silicone Rubber Sealant.
Color: White

This same exact model sold on ebay.

It reads not for aquariums but can this be because it needs to cure?

any input would be great thank you very much,
AL.

yes that silicone is safe. it is the one I use all the time. except I only use clear I don't know about white.

anybody else have experience with this silicone? thanks Danny for your input, im curious if this silicone leeches anything out into the water? Any ideas?

Same here ...........

I have seen people use it and be ok, i wouldnt use it though... be sure to get the one that does not have the mold and mildew inhibitor and use the clear.

I have used about 60-70 times over the past few years and I have never had a problem. I have used in almost every possible way and I only use the clear. You should be A-OK
