Safe Paly Fragging Procedure?

I have a lot of brownish green palys overtaking a larger piece of LR.

- Are they poisonous?
- Whats the safest way to frag these, without intoxicating my 55G tank?
- How many polyps can I safely cut before palytoxins get too high in the water column?
- What works best, cutting the polyps like flowers, by the base?

They look nice man, why would you want to remove them? If you have any concerns about the effects removing them will have in your tank, consider removinging them outside of your tank. =)
