Safe to fly with corals?

I have packed things in a big thermos before. If you do, check the seals and maybe tape them. If you have shrink wrap even better. Just expect them to get tossed so maybe a little padding so they don't bounce around..

Out of all the times I fly and they either lose my luggage. break stuff inside my toolbox, theirs a huge tear, or stuff is just missing. Is it really worth it. 9 times out of 10 its going to be cheaper to get whatever you want in the US. If you are in ONT. then you have GST and PST. Everything is more expensive up there. Consider Gas. last time I was up there it was 1.02 per liter. there is 3.9 liters per gallon then you add 7% GST then 8 or 9% PST. it get really expensive. After you purchase the coral you might have to pay customs for them to allow you to take the piece home. Are you driving acros the boarder then flying or are you flying straight from CA. They dont go through your crap if you drive across. Just a thought.

Good Luck. Then are not even allowing tooth paste in your carry-on. Then they are doing random searches at the Gates. You cannot even bring liquids on the plane that you bought behind security. If you try it let us know.

I didn't bother to try it.... my suitcase was packed full of the other goodies that I bought, hahaha..... Oh well.... local corals for me! Anyone got any forgspawn in the downtown chicago area for sale? :)
