Safety Connector Issue

I purchased this item and it came with a blown 4A fuse. No retailer has a 4A fuse that small. Best I could get is a 5A from Home Depot. Is this ok?

Also which wire goes to black and which goes to red on battery. One wire is red, other is red & black.

Please advise.

I can send a fuse, it is not a usual spare part we offer but I would never go oversize on a fuse and the correct size is available on Amazon or eBay.

The red is positive, the black with red stripe is negative and the red stripe is just from where the two wires meet. Keep in mind you need a trickle charger to maintain the battery.
