Safety Connector Not Working

I was upgrading my reef and wasn't paying attention when I hooked the battery clips to the battery. I attached negative to positive and vise versa, now the 6040 will not work off battery. The pump works fine when wall power is applied. Did I kill the fuse inside the connector or the entire connector? Will I need to replace anything?

I would suspect it is just the fuse, you should be able to remove it and visually verify if that is the culprit, and if so replacements are available at Radio Shack and other electronics stores.

Thanks for the info. Pulled the fuse and it does seem to be shot. Will be getting new one later this week.

New fuse installed and battery back up is..well back up. Thanks Roger for the help!
