Nice, real nice. You are entitled to your opinion. I will give you mine.
I buy ALL my fish from the guys over at Deep Reef. They have the largest selection and some of the best prices (many better than the online retailers for rare fish) I've seen around. Better still is the amount of information and knowledge you can get from there. No other LFS can provide as much information to you on the capture, transfer, care, co-tankmates for, agressive/passive attitude of and feeding behavior/diet of your chosen fish as these guys can.
That said, if you haven't been in before, this coming weekend sale is an excellent opportunity to save a few more dollars on whatever you choose - corals, fish or supplies.

They sell alot of fish and have a very high turnover. Most of the fish are in tight conditions only around a week. I've puruchased all my fish from them except one and all of them have done very well.
They are not maintaining their fish LONG TERM in cubes. Long term care is our job. Lots of LFS keep their fish short term in cubes but they are not there for very long as LFS cannot afford to keep fish long. Deep Reef is a really great source for rare fish especially fairy wrasses and butterfly fish. Sometimes their prices are a little high, sometimes they are great. The thing I like about this store is that when you go in you may hit a super jackpot with something rare and incredibly unusual. But, be aware that their system is hyposalinic; this is good for parasite control but requires salinity acclimation (which you should do anyways). All of the people in the shop I have spoken to are very honest and very knowledgeable.

I buy all my fish from deepreef, and they are all doing great, best selection of rare fish in the chicagoland area hands down!!

I buy my fish from them, usually have huge selection and many species are on the rare end of the spectrum. However their pricing seems a bit high, especially on corals and drygoods. Its no ROD'S.
I like them for their price and selection. Most of their fish look quite healty. But they give no gaurantee, and I'm not a fan of the cramped conditions. I've bought 3 fish from them. One I still have, one died shortly after purchase, and one turned out to be real aggressive. For the aggressive one I asked if I could swap for something else ( even if of lower value ) - they told me no. I bought some snails there once; the tank they were in was at 1.016 - they didn't last long. But, their prices and selection make me go back.
