salifate nitrate test kit

i have th salifert nitrate test kit and wondering if it reads 100 does that mean its 10. also does the salifert test kits expire. if so how long.

There is a sticker on top of the box. That tells the expiration date. If you read the test by holding the vial up to the card, then you divide by 10 (100 will become 10). Read the test with the vial sitting on top of the card and look down through the vial to match the color.
