They are equally as likely to be wrong.
Test kits are not super accurate. But a 150ppm difference in a Ca test tells me something is either wrong with one of the test kits, or (no offence intended) you are doing something wrong.
I use API and Salifert.
I normally test with the API because it's fast, easy and accurate enough for me. If I get a flier of a result, I'll do the test again with the API. If I get the same out of line or unexpected result I'll break out the Salifert test kit. Every time I have the results have been very close; like 500 with that API and then 490 with the Salifert.
If I got readings that were off by 150 like yours, I'd be getting a friend over and compare both of yours to the friends (or an LFS if that's your only choice).
