salinatey drop!

I normally keep it at 1.023 to 1.024. I put the hose into my sump & started to add fresh RO water to my sump/tank & started doing somthing else & I had a flood. My salinatey is now 1.020 is this putting my reef in danger being this low or is it not that bad. Will I make it worse if I bring it back up tonight or should I do this over a few days ? I would hate to shock the tank again.

Bring it up slowly, like you said you dont want to shock your system again. I would do no more than .001 a day if possible.

Do I need to worry about my tank critters ? Clams,corals,fish & so on.

Well it is too low for inverts, but if you bring it up 0.001 per 6-12 hours or so (think acclimating from a store tank to yours) it should be fine. Simply topoff with salt water or do water changes with high-SG water.
