Does anyone have an opinion on the American Marine Pinpoint Salinity Monitor? I'm trying to decide if I should go with a refractometer or go with the digital meter.

Don't know about the monitor, but I've had the same refractometer for 15 years.

I would use the refractometer for sure!

I use a refractometer and hydrometer together. I use the hydrometer more frequently and then the refractometer at least once a month to double check. go with the refractometer.

Dito on the last statement. I bought the PinPoint several years back and was not happy with it. It now just sits in a box.
