Salinity Monitor Issue

I just received my MP-10, Reefkeeper Elite, and Pinpoint Salinity monitor. I originally ordered the SL2 Module with salinity probe but didn't want to wait for it. The reefkeeper and vortech work great...I love them! The Salinity Monitor will not turn on and when it does numbers are barely visible then disappear. I did not open the calibration fluid but did throw away the box it came in. Any suggestions? Brand new Duracell battery is in it, it just won't work.

Sorry to hear about the issue. The only thing I could suggest is try swapping the battery, just to make sure that's not it. It sounds like a battery issue, from what you're explaining.

If that doesn't work, I would recommend giving Lou @ American Marine a call (manufacturer), and see if he has any ideas for you. He can be reached at (914) 763-5367. If you get a voicemail just leave him a message, he is very good at returning calls. Please let me know what you come up with.
