i have a coral banded shrimp and was wondering if i would be able to put a sally lightfoot crab in there with it. would they get along. and when my shrimp molts would the crab go after it. the cbs is about 2.5 inches
thanks

i've kept those two together without problems.

the sally lightfoot may not be reef safe when it gets large though.

There shouldn't be a problem, both can look out for eachother. But you should be careful, sally lightfoots can catch and eat small fish and small shrimp

It seems as though it depends on the particular crab. Some people have great sucess, while others report they are problems.

Personally, mine has gotten along well with everyone, including the two small shrimp I introduced.

Mine got along with everything I had also and never had a problem. I actually really never saw him till after his last molt and that guy was getting HUGE.
I just did my upgrade to my 210g and played it safe and put him in my sump. He still has lots of rock and sand and all the goodies but feel safer with his new size being in there.
Others have had problems with theirs when they got larger.
