Salt cloud - how to prevent or control

When mixing salt with freshwater... what do you folks do, if anything, about the salt dust/cloud in the air? While breathing it in is one concern, I don't like that it is getting everywhere in the room. Thanks much!

Wear a mask. I do my mixing in the unfinished basement. It's even worse with kalk powder. You might lay a garbage sack over the mouth of the barrel, and try to put it in cup by cup, close to the water.

Pour slower.. No one is racing you..

It should NEVER become a cloud nor get anywhere else in the room unless you are just being "crazy" with it..

Got it. I was scooping in about 3/4 cup at a time ... but I will slow down nonetheless. I must say that I use RC pro and it seems to produce greater amount of clouds than other products I've used.

I dump a 50G bag at a time in my mixing barrels. I have never seen this "salt cloud" you speak of.

There is a bit of dust, but not enough to be a concern, or to get everywhere.
