Salt Mix

What kind of salt mix are you using and recommending.

Like he said. I did a short stint of Corallife but read about a lot of people blaming it for problems and figure I never had a problem with IO so went back to it and have not switched again,

I know some people mix IO and Corallife to get a better balance.

I have used Oceanic...way out of balance, Coralife, Reef Crystals and Instant Ocean...I am sticking with IO.

WOW, @ jack's age I think I'll take his advise. I was going to mix some IO (what I use most) with some Oceanic in hopes to get a better mix.

Can you mix up alot at once and then store it? If so do you need to do anything to it?

Yes I have a 55g drum I mix about 45g at a time. Just keep a power head like a maxijet in whatever you use to keep the water moving. It will last for what about a year I think??

All I need to do now is find a 55 gallon drum. With a lid.

Tropic Marin Pro-Reef. Parameters are always consistent and perfect every time.

No probs with coral life here.Used for 16-17yrs.And I use brute trash cans for r.o. and salt water storage.Seth
