Salt mixing : How do you get the same salinity every time?

After 2 years, I have been unable to to point to the Sharpie ink as the cause of any issues in my tanks, and I have had plenty of issues.
It's good to consider the ramifications of what comes into contact with tank water, but the small amount of ink, over the course of hundreds or even thousands of gallons of water is less concern that putting your hands in the tank with out washing them.

With a 20 gallon brute and a float valve for the RODI I use a 25 gallon box of instant ocean salt. 1.026 every time. No measuring, no mistakes. 1 brute of water, 1 box of salt.

The 44 gallon brute with a 50 gallon bag of IO mixes at 1.026 as well.

I mix my water in a 55g barrel. It holds ~53g I think. I dump in 1 full bag of IORC + 2 x 12oz jif jars full. That mixes to 1.024-5. I rarely check it anymore. Been doing it so long I already know what it's going to be.
