guess they lied about the residue. go figurethats why i just use cheap io. feel those more expensive salts are all talk. i changed salts several times never noticed a difference in my tanks, so why not go with the cheapest

Ive switched to plain old Instant Ocean. Saved a ton of money, and my fish and corals can't tell the difference.
I add some ALk, Cal, and MAG to bring it up to my tank levels, but the cost of those chemicals, and the small amount I have to add, doesn't come close to the price of some of those more "premium" salts that I still sometimes need to supplement.
