yeah, The shipping is a little high. I was going too call them to see if they can do a little better on the shipping, a few months ago I had 6 buckets delivered from DFS and the shipping was only $16.99. It's worth a shot they will meet each others prices, I'm just not sure if they do on shipping, especially on a promotion.

I tried also yesterday, their new policy is not to price match. so I guess $ 29.75 a bucket (including shipping) from that pet place is still a good buy. I will order it today.

same here, currently have 4 buckets on reserve in the basement. I have only used Oceanic in the past and bought a bucket of IO recently to give it a try. We'll see what the difference is soon.

I use Oceanic too . Switched from IO, easier to maintain higher CA but Alk needs adjusting periodically. ( maintaning 9-11 dkh)I find it easier to mix and ready quicker. But I used IO for 8 years with out a problem. Oceanic is 200G mix buckets, much heavier. I often but it at Pet Solutions with free shipping

$117.95 delivered isnt a bad deal. $29.50 each bucket is what it works out to. Plus the luxury of only having to carry it from the front door to the basement

road trip..years ago my friends and I would just rent a van or find someone who did and take a trip out there for all our supplies. It was well worth it to see their facilty and cheaper when adding up all the shipping charges....but now Tony's is around..just give him a call and I'm sure with that many buckets being ordered he can probably do something.
.....IMO Oceanic is very inconsitant from bucket to bucket...always very high cal over 500 sometimes.....I'm never using it again... with IO cal, mag are low, alk is good and more importantly preyty consistant readings....... It easier to add an additive then try to mix it with something else to lower it.
