Salt water mixing question

I'm mixing salt water in a 32 gallon brute container. I have a power head at the bottom that I turn on for 15 minutes every hour just to keep things mixed. I've mixed maybe 300 gallons of water so far. I'm seeing white residue in the bottom of the container. I've taken a paddle and stirred it up but is just seems to drift back to the bottom and stay there.

SO the question is do you guys normally see residue left over from your mixing process? Should I find a way to remove it from the container?

I use reef crystals and let the salt mix overnight with a maxi jet 1200. Sometimes there is a little salt on the bottom at the beginning, but it usually dissolves and the water is clear by the morning. As long as the salinity is OK i wouldn't worry too much about it. it will all mix in eventually when being run through the tank,

If you add the salt with the water cold you will get less calcium precipitation which is what you are most likely seeing even though the salt takes a little longer to dissolve in cold water. You can easily clean up the residue with a little white vinegar.
