Salt?

Anybody gonna need salt in the next couple of months? I think I'm good for another month or so.

Many of you won't remember this BUT, I used to put together these HUGE salt orders with the guys at Premium Aquatics. Is there any interest in doing that again? We can run it in the other place if you want to.

Just curious about it and trying to gauge interest from you guys.

We were talking with the AM folks at the last meeting about getting a half pallet of reef crystals in 50# boxes... not sure on cost yet. I think Eddie and Trey are working on that.

Back in the day when I used to order it, we ordered Kent salt buckets (usually a pallet or two) for under $30 apiece, I think. But Kent is supposedly not as good anymore and that's been like 10 years ago so I'm sure salt prices are WAY higher than they used to be. It'd probably be considerably more expensive now but if you're going through AM (or CR or whoever), I don't want to horn in on that.

I have not collected all of the prices from all of the vendors. It looks, so far, like $43 for a 200 gallon box of Reef Crystals is the best I have found so far. If we go with the vendor for $43, there is no shipping charges if we buy two or more boxes. I still have one other vendor who is getting me a price.

I would like to know how many people and how many boxes??????
I will be ordering Sunday the 4th of August.

This price is with a $5 Gift Certificate. The price is for a limited time and the GC is also.

The price is $48. A $5 gift certificate is sent in the mail after. You cannot use it on this purchase.
