what are the steps in changing your salt brands? i use reef crystals now
thinking of changing to coral pro red sea. what are the steps taken for this so i do not destroy my tank.:worried::worried::worried:

test the new water, and make sure its not too far off.


for least stress, I would mix half half RC and new salt, do water change
then mix 1./4 RC and rest new salt.

and then stop using RC ...

I doubt you need to do anything special. The alk is lower, but you may not even notice that difference if you are dosing daily somehow.
