My views on salt brand: think for yourself.

Also consider there are many great, long time reefers and many successful public aquariums which only use IO exclusively. Even Holmes-Farley has admitted in the past to using plain 'ol IO.

I'm in communication with unitedpetgroup for donations to my classroom saltwater tanks and they are the parent company of IO. Their rep just told me that liveaquaria uses IO salt, a few 750lb pallets each week. Thought that was pretty interesting info for people thinking about salt.

I get the same salt from DFS and they will have it on sale for less than $45 per 200 gal box with free shipping from time to time

I know the Fed Ex guy hates me.....LOL
