Salt

maybe start with Instant Ocean at first, get your tank going and stable. it is available at most shops, usually competitively priced, good for getting things going.

Most people go with IO since its pretty good, and reasonably priced. There are a few other High end salts that have more trace elements in them such as tropical Marin, Seachem, and Red Sea Coral Pro. Personally I used IO for my old 72g Tank, I might go with a higher end salt, but IO is fine, many people use it, and just dose to get the levels they want...

IO is what I use. IMO just don't mix salts if you can help it. Find one that is good quality, and readily available in your area and stick with it.

I just looked at the bucket of Marin salt and the directions say, use as directed by your LFS, any suggestions on salt per gallon?
