San Carlos Trip

Oops, it's clear now. I'm in the last day of finals, and these last couple of weeks have pretty well worked me over. I'll definitely need a San Carlos trip after this! The City has a few special events going on in their pools so the first i could for get for class is June 4 Does that work for most people? the pool would be from 8:00-12:00. The total cost of the course would be $50/person. I'm not making anything on it, and it's a pretty good price, usually this runs about $200. This covers the certifying agencies cost of processing the paperwork and issuing the card as well as the cost of purchasing a set of books/dvd's that can be shared between 2 people/set. We can look at trip dates and see what works. You can go to desertdivers.com and check out trips to san carlos and see what dates we can arrange. Let me know if you are interested so i can buy the books and start getting them out to people.

Olin, Mark has offered us the use of his pool gratis, and he has a large screen we can use for classroom portion of training. he also wants to go. We can do it any weekend at his house.
 
I think Olin was wanting to do it on wednesday but I can't make that night. I was hoping this tuesday for the class or over the weekend. Wed - Fri is bad for me. We will see what happens I guess.
 
It looks like most people can't make it on Wed- let's see who all is interested and when everyone can get together maybe early next week? Most can be done at home if you can't make the classroom part. Just drop me a line and I will get you the DVD's and books to get started. olin
 
Hi all- I have a couple of dates for the trips I will be on- They are both through Desert Divers, one is June 23-25, the other is July 7-9. I will be on both, so either is fine for me. However, they are both starting to fill up really fast, so I will need to get in and pay for them very soon to reserve your spots. Normaly it is about $350 including rental gear etc or $315 (after Mexican IVA tax) which includes 2 days in the boat, 2 nights in the San Carlos plaza Resort. I've been able to get some discounts for this group, so if you are interested, you can PM me or email to olinf@azaquaculture.com and I will let you know about prices and payment info etc. For the class, i am available most anytime in the afternoons/evenings so let's start tossing out some dates and see when would work for most people.
