My wife's Seahorse tank is cycling well right now, but controlling the algae on the sand bed is an issue. We are running low current and the rocks at the bottom are constantly growing new algae on them. It's a 24g open top cube with a HOB filter for a fuge and a skimmer box filter to keep the top water film under control. Temp is running at 76 and we put 8 snail's in there.
What good creatures can I put in there to keep the algae under control? It's not slim algae, just normal. The rocks are being taken care of by the snails, but they don't seem to care much for cleaning the sand/rock bottom.
Thanks in advance.
