I have 4 wrasses( solar, lubbocks, mckoskers, mystery) in my 30 gal QT would it be ok to have sand in a tupperware to help them feel more comfortable? Or should I make them sack up and deal, until treatment is done. thanks for your responses

What type of QT are you doing? Copper, Hypo, TTM, just observation?

What I see recommended the most is to put sand in a tupperware dish to let them bury themselves in. If you are doing TTM you will want to throw out the sand completely at each transfer... but it sounds like you are doing one of the other methods.

Regardless, toss out the sand at the end of each QT session before adding new fish.

Cirrhilabrus, Pseudocheilinus and Paracheilinus spp. wrasses do not bury themselves in sand (they typically sleep in the rockwork), so it's unnecessary to put it in the QT for them. Just give them a few pieces of PVC to hide in, and they'll be fine.

Correct. However that mixture of wrasses will be behaviorally problematic (mystery wrasse)
