sand problem

had a question about my sand bed.in the last couple of weeks I have noticed my sand getting a green hair alge on it. I have sucked the top layer off in the last couple of water changes.when i checked all my pram were ok exect the ph 8.6. just did a 20 gal water change.

What kind of water are you using, it may be time to change RO filters.

I just changed the filter in the ro unit
