Sand Sifters

I'm looking for one that will be happy in a 40 gallon breeder tank.

I currently have a diamond goby which I understand will grow too large for my system... he's still a juvenile at the moment, and he's already so intent on making new burrows each night and burying any sand dwelling corals that I shudder at the thought of him as an adult.

I'd love to get my diamond goby to a larger, more appropriate home... But I got into this hobby for the interesting colors and behaviors... sand sifting is so cool to watch and I really want a fish that will do it. Is there a fish that will fit my bill?

might get by with a Rainford's goby. or some nasarius and cerith snails. or a tiger tail cucumber. Most sand sifters generally need a ton of sand to survive long term.

I understand that they need lots of sand nutrients, but my diamond eats right out of my syringe when I'm feeding brine shrimp...

I didn't know rainsfords did the whole sand sifting thing? Seems like if they do my sad would be way too big for their little heads.

I'll look into the yellow watchman.
