Sand tube with really long threads

Hi,
I had a problem with my tank the other day and since then the lights have been off.
Today I noticed a small tube seemingly constructed of sand particles and out of it there are many long long fine threads. The tube is probably 0.5-1cm with probably 20ish threads that extend up to 10cm. they retract on occasion as well.

Any ideas? Is it good or bad and if bad how do I remove/kill whatever it is.

Absolutely a spaghetti worm (the smallest species) mand a good filter feeder. I had some until I got a wrasse and it ate them all in just 2 or 3 days!
