Sand

I have called my local Home Depot to check and see if they have any Southdown Sand available and the manager told me they no longer are carrying that brand. They do have Quickcrete sand. Is this recommended or is there a different type someone could recommend? I will appreciate any help.

I have used the Quickcreate play sand in my fuge with a little live sand from my tank poured on top, works just fine but it's not white it's tan.

and you have not had any problems with algae? I don't mind the color I am just worried about it having too much silica in it and I see it debated all the time. It is great to actually see someone has used it with no problems. Makes me feel more comfortable. Thanks!!
