Sanjay Joshi and Jason Joshi and I were icefishing today. Rose Valley Lake was slippery and cold first but it got wormer later. Wind made it cold in the morning but when wind stopped it was nice but it was still slippery. We had good day and he offered me some free corals from his tank. Later we decided to visit some other fishermen who were not that far from us. On the way back I heard a loud noise behind me and I looked back and here I saw our Dear friend Sanjay on the ice on his back laughing. I started to laugh and I told him that next time to bring golf shoes. Later I told him that I will be down to pick up the corals but he did not remember us talking about them. A word of advice for those who have been promissed free corals from Sanjay to forget it. :D It was fun day and we had few fish here and there but not as much as we expected. We saw flags go up many times but fish seem not to take the bite hard. :D

Hope his memory comes back and hope we see him back here..

Mo: sanjay are you there? this is Mo
Sanjay : Mo who ?
or
Sanjay : icefishing ? ?
..
I gotta post some pictures here.. you guys missed allot of fun. I'm laughing thinking about it.

Sanjay on the rocks?

Sanjay on the rocks?

Sounds like a great day. Too bad Sanjay got amnesia from the closed head injury. His memory might return, given enough time to heal. Maybe by the time the swap rolls around, he'll remember the purple tort he promised me...

PS Mo, my rotifers are rocking and rolling. Too bad we have a few million on the way. Anyone interested in 2.5 million rotifers? (lol)

Check out the wooden spoked wheels on that vehicle. You definitely have the correct era.

i'll buy some from you tag. i just need to know what i need to keep them living. keep saying i have to read up on them, but i'm in the process of trying to find a new job, so things are kind of hectic (but i find enough time to log into RC - go figure!!)

Tag,

I can take some rotifers from you too. I have an algae disk and some fertilizer on it's way and I'd like to start using rotifers in the tank as well.

Works for me. How can you, Goalie and I work this out? I guess I should start by letting you know that my half of the rots and shipping cost ~$80. If you guys want to split them, there's still the drive down there (or up here), and we all know how much I hate to drive (not). Coincidentally, I MAY be buying a starfire cube for the horses that's been previously loved by several people, and it's down near you. The guy hasn't written back since Friday though, so that may fall through. Even though the rots that Mo gave me are doing well, if you don't want the whole 2.5 miilliion, we could try to split my half 3 ways (but that's a lot of counting (jk). "One for Goalie, one for Jon, one for me, one for Goalie, one for ... " you get the idea. Maybe someone wants to go for a 4 way split. If we did that, it'd be nice to add $3 each for gas money (regardless of who drives).
I'll let you think on it, but the rots are IN THE AIR though, so don't think too long (g). I'll shoot an email to the cube guy.
TIA,
Tagamet

They are coming to me. I can send you the tracking # so you can "watch" the progress too. I should be able to run your "bag" down to you tomorrow. When will you be ( or WILL you be) around in the afternoon?

Tag,

The only problem is I need my phyto growing before I can take the rotifers. Do what you need to do to keep them going and I'll get some from you when my phyto is brewing. I've done phyto before so I should be up and running quickly.

Sounds good. They came around 3 pm today in 2 one-PINT bags. Lordy, are they dense! (reminds me of a girl I dated in college....). Anyway, I'm going to start a second culture with my half of these, so I'll have 2 batches going. It's looking a LOT like I'll be down to Berwyn, PA this weekend to buy a 30 inch Starfire cube (if it's not too scratched up). I hope to either replace the 36 inch seahorse tank, or maybe just add the cube. I don't have much of a need to walk in my fishroom. Pretty soon, I won't have to get up from my desk to feed all the tanks....

Tag was at my store not long ago and he is doing well. I miss the guy around but he is busy with other stuff. He into other hobbies that are less work than reefing. Tagamet gave alot of his time to this hobby and this club and he is a good reef friend I always respect.

CJ: I did not see it was you typing this untill I pushed reply.. I am happy to see your name come up. You have been a good support and help as well. How you doing ? I will let tag know that you asked about him. Good to see your name back again in NCPARS thread. :D

I will do that and will give him a call sometimes soon. Hope I can have him over for one of the meetings. His big aquarium that he donated still at one of the local schools 220 gal. We use many of the stuff he donated.
