saphire skimmer for nano

What ever it said on the web-site...I think $89.00 plus shipping...and he stands by his products...great customer service, answers e-mail, the whole 9 yards.

d1 it was $89 for the NC24 model. I agree with Ladipyg. Have had mine for almost a month and love it. At first had a micro buble issue but after about 8 days that was gone.
Jun - Have mine set up in the center chamber. Nothing special just sit it in the chamber and close the lid. May have to play with the cup a bit for wet or dry skim but thats all. Just plug and play. Have two clowns - a long nose hawkfish - a rainfordi goby - a cleaner goby - water is clear - no problem pulling the extra food out (if I heavy feed). I really like this skimmer. It pulls out a ton of skimmate.

Has anyone tried their 12g? and know if it might fit into an aquapod? I have the current usa piece of skimmate >< couldn't even get it to fit right into the stupid tank and have just heard bad juju altogether about it

hcahan...this does not fit an aquapod......chrisstie....they make one identicle to it just scaled down a bit specificaly for the 12 gallon nano cube...you might try that...i am going topless and will be geting a remora nano skimmer

I asked last night and they are working on a soultion for AP12. Right now the NC12 will fit in the third chamber (I believe) but is about 1.5" too tall so the lid won't close. Hopefully they will have something for an AP12 shorty.
