sargassum

I just got some sargassum and I have a few question about it. First off what are the best conditions for it? Does it grow fast or slow? And also since it is yellowish white what does it look like when it is dying? Also, can anyone post pics of their sargassum? I just want to make sure that mine is healthy. Also does it prefer to be mounted or free floating? Thanks.

I've seen mounted sargassum in tanks before, it gives the tank a neat 'kelp forest' look if done right. All the tanks I've seen it in, it had an amber-brown color.

Where did you buy it? I can't find the stuff anywhere!

I got it at a wholeseller. I can send you a good handful for $15 shipped if you like. I bought a whole lot because I haven't seen them anywhere for a while. Or if you have any macros to trade we could do a swap. Whats your tank like?
