Save Zoa after rock hit

Hi have a green Zoa which was doing fine until it was hit by a failing rock. Now the smashed part is melting away. I am afraid that it will affect its good part.

Should I fragment the coral? Or will the affected polyps melt without affecting the others?

Most likely, it will be fine. Zoas are pretty resiliant.

If it starts to get worse, frag, just to be on the safe side.
